Advice and Support for Application to Initial Teacher Education Programmes
In light of the current shortage of Catholic primary teachers, APHTA have established a recruitment group dedicated to guiding and supporting prospective Catholic primary teachers.
Each year a group of APHTA mentors support a number of students through the application and interview process for Initial Teacher Education courses. This is done through the allocation of a mentor (which you can apply for using the form below) who will discuss your application and support you with your personal statement. In addition to this, APHTA will offer an information evening on the interview process on the 8th November 6:30 - 8pm in St Anne's Primary School Glasgow.
In the meantime, please watch the videos and access the information below and make sure you sign up for a headteacher mentor before the 28th October. We look forward to supporting you!
