Religious Education Department
Covid-19 RE and Spiritual Support
The link below will take you to resources for Catholic schools which have been created jointly by the Scottish Catholic Education Service and Diocesan R.E. Advisers. Their aim is to offer school staff practical and spiritual support during these challenging times.
Each week resources will be uploaded that you can use as part of your Religious Education programme. The learning and teaching uses core learning from 'This Is Our Faith' and can be used in class, at home or as part of a blended learning approach.
There will also be a series of resources to support the spiritual and pastoral life of staff within our Catholic schools. These resources will link you directly to the prayers of the Church, the readings of the day, the feast days and memorials of the liturgical calendar and offer you opportunities to build times of individual and collective prayer and reflection.
All resources can be found here: https://sces.org.uk/r-e-learning-spiritual-support/

The Religious Education Department of the Archdiocese of Glasgow participates in the Church's mission of evangelisation through supporting parishes and schools in the Archdiocese in the delivery of Religious Education and Catechesis.
This is achieved by the provision of resources faithful to the Teachings and Traditions of the Church and offering opportunities for professional and faith formation for teachers and catechists.
Our work involves supporting and working with teachers and catechists in: Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, Special Education Needs Provision and Parishes.
